The Dots Mesh Newsletter #2
Hope you are doing well.
A month has passed since the first issue of the Dots Mesh Newsletter, and I have some news for you.
Let's start with the recently released software packages.
The Dots Mesh web app and server package are now both at v1.1. Now you can edit your posts, and connect with others in new ways. There are usability and accessibility improvements too.
Please visit https://about.dotsmesh.com/news/new-dots-mesh-software-release-september-2020/ for all the details.
Currently, there are some new features in beta (a rich text editor is the big one), so feel free to check them out at https://beta.dotsmesh.com/ or download the v1.2.0-beta from the web app's repository at GitHub.
Open software has a lot of benefits, and Dots Mesh is an open platform. Take a look at https://about.dotsmesh.com/why-open-social-platform/ to see why this is important.
Dots Mesh is a community project, and it's getting a lot of interest recently. I would like to invite you to join the team. Please take a look at https://about.dotsmesh.com/contributors/
And last, but not least, I would like to thank you all for supporting the project in these early days. We have a special surprise for you - a $90 voucher for https://hosting.dotsmesh.com/
If you've subscribed to our newsletter before September 19, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll send you the code.
