Dots Mesh is launching publicly!
Hi, Ivo Petkov here.
There is something I want to share with you.

After multiple months of thinking, talking, drawing, researching, building, and testing in stealth mode, we are extremely happy to release version 1.0 of the Dots Mesh platform. This first public release is proof that a distributed social platform is not only possible, but it can be really easy to set up and use.

There are public profiles for those of you that want to share with the world, there are secret groups for families, teams, and organizations, and there are private profiles for everybody else. There is no spam, no ads, and no tracking. It's based on open technologies and it's open-sourced. It's built for you and your own social circle.

Sounds interesting? I hope so.

Here are the features we've built so far:
- Public profiles (with posts)
- Secret groups where multiple people can join, post, and comment.
- Private profiles that live on your device only (but still can join groups)
- Following others
- Private messaging
- Contacts lists
- Notifications (push notifications too)
All of this encrypted and signed on your device (in your browser).

There are more details at, and we encourage you to try it out today. We'd love your feedback and your help. It's a team effort you are invited to join us in building this new world.

And finally, I'd like to invite you to my Dots Mesh profile, as a quick demonstration of the web app we've built.
There will be more!
